Satsuma Kadonooji (葛野大路 颯馬, kadonooji satsuma) is a 2nd-year student and the treasurer and the brain of the Singing Club.
Appearance[]
Satsuma has short metallic blue hair and pale grey-green eyes. He wears circular rimmed glasses. He wears the Tensho Academy dark blue uniform and the green tie for 2nd-year students with a white undershirt, along with green pants and sturdy brown, laceless shoes.
Personality[]
Satsuma is cool, quiet and intelligent, but is not afraid of getting his emotions across and expressing his thoughts. He likes to think he is the only sane person in his club, but he is not much better than his other club members. He can be pragmatic and passionate in his methods- especially when it comes to the Singing Club.
Story Introduction[]
Episode 1 - Adagio []
Satsuma is in the singing club room with Hinata Mitsutsuka and the president Mitsuki Akika.
Episode 3 - Dolente[]
Disagreeing with Ryo Saotome, Satsuma believes they need to be more aggressive in their endeavors to have more people join to music club. Along with Hinata Mitsutsuka, Uta Outa and Sosuke Kagura, he meets Saku Otonomiya. Satsuma tries various methods of persuading Saku to join.
Episode 4 - Abandone[]
Satsuma is not too keen of taking part in Ryo Saotome's plan of wearing cat ears.
Relationships[]
Ryo Saotome[]
Satsuma is a fellow member of the Singing Club. They are complete opposites and often clash with each other. As implied by Mitsuki, they frequently get into small fights, however, these usually end in them being able to reaffirm their friendship. Out of all the characters, Ryo spends the most time with Satsuma.
In episode 9, their relationship is expanded upon. Despite all of their differences, they do truly care about each other. They reflect on each other's perspectives on the cat ordeal, and both admit that they were wrong when they lashed out earlier in the episode. After sorting things out with Konishi, they continue their antics in teasing and arguing, but with a new understanding of the other.
Hinata Mitsutsuka[]
He listens to what Hinata said about Saku Otonomiya's voice when deciding whether he attempt to get Saku to join the singing club.
Mitsuki Akika[]
Satsuma has a lot of respect for Mitsuki as the president of the Singing Club. He wants to be a reliable member of the club, and often looks to Mitsuki for this.
Saku Otonomiya[]
Hearing about him on account of his voice, Satsuma heads to the restaurant where Saku works to introduce himself. He adjusts his forceful approach to simply listing the benefits of club points they can gain if they win the winging competition, otherwise he works well with Saku.
